Sanremo Story ... Mia Martini

Sanremo If the present does not give us much food for now to be discussed, as usual, we take refuge in the past, the history of music and in this coincidence in the history of Festival.
We continue our research and in fact brought to light another debut: the one of the great and unforgettable Mia Martini .
In this case it is a debut in the music world in general, as Sunday Berté , aka Mia Martini began his career 19 years earlier, in 1963.
Tracks like "Little Man" in '72 and "Minuet" in '73, had already hailed as a great interpreter of Italian music, when in 1982, after several missed opportunities, comes the right piece for Sanremo.
The song was the beautiful "It Does Not sky "written by Ivano Fossati .
This among other things was the last piece that I wrote for her shortly before it ended their troubled love story.
The particular beauty of this track what did happen in the history of San Remo had never happened.
fact, although the song had not placed among the top three, was set up to pay homage to the artist and his beautiful piece, the Critics' Award , resulting from the votes given by music journalists accredited to the Festival.
This award, which over the years has been of particular importance after the tragic death of Mia Martini In 1995, was named after her.
